This week, we saw the introduction and delivery of our latest Enrichment Activity - First Aid for Schools.

This is an introductory 3-hour course, spread over 3 weeks. In this first session, students learnt about the airway, breathing and resuscitation. After watching the demonstrations, our students were able to practice chest compressions. We learnt about the advantages of carrying out CPR and how to use a defibrillator. Next week, the focus will be on Secondary Survey Casualty Assessing, choking, asthma and severe allergic reactions.
