This year, staff and students from Waterfront UTC were invited back to attend the Chatham Waters Summer Social again this year, which was delivered by Peel Waters, Legal & General, Way of Life Avison Young, O'Halloran & O'Brien and X1 Sales & Lettings along with support from Medway Council.

This event brings together the Chatham Waters community to celebrate its growth and development over recent years.

We were able to introduce some of our students to the stakeholders at the event and catch up with the partners and businesses across Medway.

This was a fantastic event for those students to be noticed and credited for their achievements so far, especially those students who attended O’Halloran & O’Brien for work experience previously this year.

Whilst in discussions of their time on placement and the completion of the development they had been working on, students were even offered part-time employment throughout the summer, which is a fantastic opportunity for them to secure at their age.

It was an absolute pleasure to be a part of this event and to meet those who are heavily involved in the local community.
