Our Yr13 students have been busy working on their UCAS Applications for Entry 2022.  The UCAS process allows students to submit their application to 5 separate universities. Each has received support with the writing of their personal statements to ensure they are highlighting their key achievements and demonstrating a key interest in their chosen subject. The UCAS deadline of the 26th January will ensure that all students applications receive equal consideration. We have a range of courses being applied for; from Construction Management to Architecture and Marine Engineering at a range of different institutions including Reading, Portsmouth, and Birmingham. Equally, Yr11 students have been exploring their Post 16 options to include Apprenticeships, staying on in 6th Form and other HE opportunities. Most of our Yr11 students have submitted an application to stay on in 6th Form here at Waterfront UTC. An offer of a place is reliant on securing the entry requirement for their chosen courses and with that in mind we are all focused on ensuring students achieve their intended outcomes. We wish all our students certificating this year the very best with their intended destinations.
