Exam Invigilator

Waterfront UTC is seeking to appoint a reliable and effective Exams Invigilator to join our team of invigilators, who are required during exam periods and for days of tests throughout the academic year.
The ideal candidate will be flexible, with excellent communication skills and a confident and reassuring presence to students sitting exams. Employment for this position is offered on an Ad-hoc basis.
Please note that this position does not involve educating or teaching. The primary responsibility of a proctor is to ensure the integrity of the testing process by monitoring test takers and enforcing testing rules.
This is a casual, zero hour contract position paid based on the National Minimum Wage.

Teacher of Computing (£3k Golden Hello)

Waterfront UTC is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic Teacher of Computing who is committed to excellence with immediate effect.
The successful candidate will be a creative and dynamic practitioner who will be able to contribute to the development of our thriving Computing Department and help drive forward our agenda of continuous improvement.
This is a part-time (0.6 FTE - full time may be considered for the right candidate), permanent post, paid on the basis of the STPC Unqualified, Main or Upper Pay Range, dependant on experience, as well as a £3k Golden Hello as outlined below:
The school is offering a recruitment incentive of £3k. This is split into the following payments - £1.5k subject to the successful completion of a 6 month probationary period, and a further £1.5k to be paid following another 6 month period as a retention incentive. This is subject to the successful candidate remaining at the school for at least that next year.
This post would suit an experienced or Early Career Teacher with good prospects for career development.

Waterfront UTC is seeking to appoint a member of staff to join our Engineering Department. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic, talented, and passionate Head of Engineering, to start with immediate effect.
You will have excellent subject knowledge and be confident that students in your care will make exceptional progress. This is a great opportunity for someone to join a team which is forward-thinking and focused on doing the very best for every student.
This is an exciting opportunity someone who is passionate about our specialism. This post is suitable for either a teacher with experience in Engineering who wants to make a move into subject leadership, or an experienced Head of Department looking for a new challenge.
This is a full time, permanent role, paid based on STPC Main or Upper Pay Range, dependant on experience, as well as a TLR2a (£8,279).
