Today was a first for Waterfront UTC. We attended a Kin-Ball Festival!
Kin-Ball has been our most popular club for a few terms now and we had an opportunity to travel to Maidstone Leisure Centre to compete against other schools.
Our pupils throughout the day were absolutely fantastic, and had lots of fun. A special mention to Lucy and Jennifer who were our team captains and took the lead during the whole tournament. But to all of you, you did yourselves, myself and the school proud today!
What were our results then? Well, we played 16 games in our first ever festival of this nature and I can report... WE WON ALL 16! ABSOLUTELY BUZZING!
There were two Kin-Ball UK coaches at this tournament, and both spoke to me privately to say how skilled we were at playing and the tactics we used were strong. They were very impressed with how good we were. This is a credit to those of you who come to training, listen, learn and adapt to improve your performance.
On the bus home, the high spirits and team morale were amazing. The singing was also amazing, but in a different way
