We had the pleasure of welcoming our local MP of Strood and Rochester, Lauren Edwards, to experience our Careers Fair and to meet students and supporting employers.
This year we had a mixture of over 45 employers, Higher Education, further education and training providers who attended to support our event, which provided the opportunity for us to demonstrate what UTCs are all about and how we help contribute to the transformation of young people's futures as they transition from education to employment.
As Lauren made her way through the event, she spoke to the majority of our exhibitors, as well as experiencing Clancy's simulator.
We then provided a tour allowing Lauren to see our workshops and the machinery used on site to help students become industry ready when moving onto their next steps.
We're ever so grateful for having the opportunity to showcase our UTC and our employer-led STEM curriculum. We hope for our next event to be just as big, if not bigger, and welcome all those willing to help support our students and the UTC.
